Split the group into two teams. The teams go to different sides of the pitch. Place 1-5 softballs in the middle of the court. Each team has as many floor balls as are available. In response to a whistle, the teams start playing the floor balls in the direction of the soft balls. The aim is to hit the softballs so that they cross the line in front of the opposing team. When the softball crosses the line, the team scores a point and the coach can put the softball back in the middle.
Aim to pass in the direction of the softballs and pass hard and as fast as you can.
Use smaller or larger softballs. Move the teams closer to the middle if it's too difficult to hit the softballs. The game can be played either point-based or time-based. For example, the team that scores 5 points first or, alternatively, the team that scores the most points within 2-3 minutes wins.
Use bigger softballs and move teams closer to the center.
Use smaller softballs or set up teams farther from the center.
